New cutting force models are being developed for general cutting operations. The first tests and parameter identifications are already performed. The new model is under investigation now.

05-05-2020: StochasticDelayDiffEq.jl

The StochasticDelayDiffEq.jl Julia package is now available and can be used for the numerical simulations of stochastic delay differential equations (e.g. stochastic models of machining [1], delay SIR epidemiology models considering stochastic perturbations [2,3]). This package can utilise a wide range of stochastic integrators, e.g., the Euler-Maruyama method, the implicit Runge-Kutta Milstein method, or even stabilised SROCK methods, to solve SDDEs. Furhtermore, the package can out-of-the-box use features from the DifferentialEquations.jl ecosystem, such as Monte-Carlo simulation and their statistical evaluation.
