TYPE, ITYPE
Sets the element type attribute pointer.
Activates an element type number to be assigned to subsequently defined
elements. This number refers to the element type number (ITYPE)
defined with the ET command. Type numbers may be displayed
[/PNUM].
In some cases, ANSYS can proceed with a meshing operation even when
no logical element type has been assigned via TYPE or XATT,,,TYPE. For more information, see the discussion on
